Poverty and H2O

The number of people in abject poverty today is as great as the population of mankind in 1900.

It would take $40 billion to provide the world with safe drinking water. The US is spending almost $70 billion in research and development of new weapons.

Nate, water is a huge deal! I was able to see that first hand in Tanzania this past November. 16 infants dead in 6 months in a village of 90 people! All because of bad H2O!

Along with bad H2O comes the need to educate people in how to use it. It doesn’t do any good to have clean water and have them store it in an old paint can.

What’s my point? It all takes $$ and we need to be supporting it! If you want a place to donate, try a local group making a HUGE difference!

This is the group from St. Paul I went with. They were featured on WCCO a week or so ago. Great people with a HEART from GOD and the PEOPLE OF TANZANIA!

    Go make a difference!
